Avoid wearing with excessive water or steam contact. Leather should avoid any water contact. Always remove your jewellery before swimming, bathing, doing household chores or using abrasive cleaners.

Metal parts or gemstone beads may be washed gently with soap and dried with a soft cloth.

Perfect Imperfection
Historians believe the link between humans and Lapis Lazuli gemstone stretches back more than 6,500 years. Civilisations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, Greece and Rome valued it for its vivid, exquisite colour.
Badakshan, a province in present-day Afghanistan, is a forbidding wasteland of mountains, bare of any vegetation. Humans make their way there to seek one thing only: the azure treasure that is fine Lapis Lazuli. The same was true as far back as 700 BC when the region was part of a country known as Bactria.
Bactria was a province of the Persian empire located in modern Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. After the defeat of Darius III of Persia, Bactria continued to offer resistance against Alexander the Great. Alexander conquered it with great difficulty between 329-327 BC. During his stay there, Alexander married a Bactrian woman, Roxanne, to aid his effort of controlling the region. From around 304 BC the area formed part of the Seleucid Empire, and from 250 BC it was the centre of a Greco-Bactrian kingdom.
A rich region, fertile lands, the centre of trade routes from Asia (silk road included) resisted numerous invaders, taking what is best from colonists - art, architecture, coinage, script and warfare experience.

We use stainless steel grade 316L (also known as Surgical Steel) in our jewellery because of its bright silvery finish, its resistance to tarnish and scratching, low reactivity to other chemicals, excellent durability and ability to retain beauty for years. Also, we use some small findings from stainless steel grade 304. Although almost all stainless steel versions contain nickel - 304 and 316L is considered hypoallergenic.
