The collection name Arcas we borrowed from Greek mythology. In Greek mythology, Arcas, the son of Zeus and Callisto, was a hunter who became king of Arcadia.

Arcadia refers to a vision of harmony with nature. The term is derived from the Greek province of the same name in Peloponnese. Arcadia was a popular artistic subject since antiquity, both in visual arts and literature. It was a symbol of simplicity, the spontaneous result of a life lived naturally in harmony with nature.
