Another difference from the ordinary braided leather cord is the method of weaving. A typical braided leather cord is braided from the leather strips cut from the hide. Nappa leather cord is made by folding soft highest quality full-grain leather strips to make them sturdy and then braided to the cord. This provides a smooth edge to each strand and consistent colour throughout the cord.
